I love Las Vegas

Hey All,

Just got back from a vacation in Vegas with 3 of my girlfriends. Just wanted to share a quick trip summary:

Day One: We arrived and checked into Bally's--not one of the classiest hotels, but we were 4 young women on a budget and just needed a place to sleep and dump our stuff. Went immediately to relax by the pool--very nice but the bar closed at 5:00. Bally's was connected to Paris--big plus--my favorite hotel/casino by far. We ate a delicious and reasonable dinner at Le Cafe. Walked around some casinos that night and stopped in the V Bar at the Venetian for drinks. Very cool bar, low key, but the staff was a little snobby.

Day Two: Breakfast at Le Cafe (FYI--they serve breakfast 24 hrs.) Pool again. Then walked around more casinos mid-day to evening. Took the free monorail over to MGM Grand and New York New York. Loved NYNY--was impressed by the recreated NY streets, delis, etc. Cheap sandwich lunch there. Walked back down the Strip stopping at Bellagio--very beautiful and classy--and saw the fountain show out front. Pizza dinner (we were still on a budget!) Got ready for our night out--went to Skin nightclub at the Palms (out by the pool) for a Shaggy concert and then to Curve at Aladdin. Skin was interesting but hot (obviously, because it was outside) and Curve was OK but wouldn't go back.

Day three: Breakfast at a bakery in paris right across from Le Cafe--excellent baked goods/coffees. Pool AGAIN (all day)! Went to Spago in Caesar's for a "treat ourselves" dinner. Amazing--one of the best meals I have ever had and it wasn't even that expensive. That night went to Rain nightclub in the Palms--I don't like nightclubs but I loved this one--very cool. Then went to Baby's at Hard Rock--the vibe I got from the party-goers there wasn't great but the bartenders were nice.

Day Four--Went to Le Cafe one last time for breakfast and did some shopping/gambling in Paris. Walked the Strip--did more shopping at the M&M store near MGM and at Caesar's. Tried to do some gambling in every casino. Caught the fountain show at night, which was incredible, and went to the airport for our red-eye back to the east coast.

All in all a fun and relaxing vacation.

I've spent more than a few 4am nights/mornings at Le Cafe or the garden bar there in the casino. Fun!

Next time try lunch at Mon Ami Gabi.

My brother came back with the same review of Curve.

:)snarla
