I Coppi/Lower East Side/NYC/
Hi there.
Have you ever visit "I coppi" at LES? We are planning to attend Stomp show and thinking to haver dinner there. Any opinions??? Regards, Ramón Caracas-Venezuela |
I've eaten there, there are pricier than some of the other Italian places in the east village, but quality and wine is a bit better. I prefer Frank on 2nd Ave and 2nd Street.

I Coppi is good but I like Frank better, too, but even better than both is Lavagna on 5th St. bet A and B.
I was going to say that I like Lavagna much better than I Coppi, but I've been beaten to it.
Agree with mp on Lavagna.
I'm hungry. Let's go now.
Lavagna is MUCH better and less expensive.
I like I Coppi. They make their bread according to Tuscan tradition without salt.
I do not like Frank's as much it is also cramped. I like Cacio e Pepe with is Romano style. We also like Lavanga. But also consider Perbacco. http://www.perbacconyc.com/ Samll dishes extemely well prepared. It is however, cramped and noisy on weekends. |
