I Coppi/Lower East Side/NYC/
 
Hi there.
Have you ever visit "I coppi" at LES?
We are planning to attend Stomp show and thinking to haver dinner there.

Any opinions???

I've eaten there, there are pricier than some of the other Italian places in the east village, but quality and wine is a bit better. I prefer Frank on 2nd Ave and 2nd Street.

I Coppi is good but I like Frank better, too, but even better than both is Lavagna on 5th St. bet A and B.

I was going to say that I like Lavagna much better than I Coppi, but I've been beaten to it.

Lavagna is MUCH better and less expensive.

I like I Coppi. They make their bread according to Tuscan tradition without salt.

I do not like Frank's as much it is also cramped.

I like Cacio e Pepe with is Romano style.

We also like Lavanga.

But also consider Perbacco.

Samll dishes extemely well prepared. It is however, cramped and noisy on weekends.
