I can't believe it- the trees are still bare here in Minnesota- will things ever green up?

We're still waiting for the leaves to pop in NE wisconsin. Winter took forever to get here this year....and is taking forever to leave. But today will be an interesting first: the first mowing of the year, with gloves on for warmth.
Isn't Minnesota that place where they say there is "ten months of winter and two months of bad sledding...?" (Actually, it's a pretty good description of the whole upper midwest)
