Hyatt Timeshare good or not
My husband and I are considering buying a Hyatt Timeshare. Please share your experiences about trading, best locations to buy in, and at what level. We would want to use it probably only a week a year.
Thank you.
Thank you.

www.tug2.net is a great timeshare owners' bulletin board site. There are reviews of many timeshares worldwide.
ALWAYS BUY RESALE, NEVER from the developer!
Get red time for the best trading power.
Before you buy, see if the new RCI Points memberships fit your lifestyle better than the traditional RCI Weeks!

We own a Hyatt Timeshare at Incline Village on Lake Tahoe and are going up this Saturday for our July 4th week. We have been going to Tahoe, and the Hyatt Hotel for years and stay this particular week with our family. We watched the T/S being built next to the hotel, and did buy from the developer five years ago. We got to pick our unit and week. We are sure to get that unit every year, which is what we like. It is a prime week, and always sold out.
We do not plan to trade, or use points. The reason we bought there was to have a family reunion during a holiday week.
For us it was worth the price, and what they charge to stay there equals out over time. The cost of 3 hotel rooms was expensive, too!
I have to say Hyatt is first class all they way. Buying resale saves money, for sure, but we do not regret that we bought at the beginning. Hyatt has some very good locations, and I hear they are building in Hawaii now.

My husband and I own a Hyatt Vacation Club Timeshare in Puerto Rico. We have been at that site three times, exchanged to Key West last May and this May I am headed to the Hyatt at Incline Village with a group of friends for a week of golfing, shopping and fun.
I like the idea of the Hyatt Vacation Club because the exchange rate for another Hyatt Property is only $39.00.
I would agree that you must love the place you are purchasing as that resort you will visit most often.
