Hyatt Regency Maui Resort

I was wondering if you have a good view with the partial view at the Hyatt? I don't know how much we will be in our room to even care to have a full view or partial view.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the view at the Hyatt. The property is incredible and if you are in the atrium tower, when you leave your room each day you will be greeted by towering palms in the hotel lobby. As soon as you get downstairs, your eyes are immediately drawn to the beach side of the building and you can see the ocean, beach, Hyatt's amazing pools, landscaping and tropical birds (plus penguins) everywhere. We like to have a great view when we go to the Carribbean but for some reason in Hawaii it has never been an issue. One of the reasons may be that even if you have a "parking lot view" you have views of the beautiful West Maui mountains which compete with the ocean for beauty. The Hyatt in Maui is one of our favorite properties in the world (not because the rooms are elegant, the service impeccable, etc) but because the whole package is just so darned nice. They do everything very well, some things incredibly well, somethings just well. But it's all good. We are going back in August and can't wait. Enjoy

i sgree with jd99, every view seemed lovely. we stayed in a partial ocean view room and and it had 2 trees off to the side that blocked a small portion of the ocean view. it was still an incredible view!

Our room looked out at the mountains, although I don't recall any parking lot being in the view as well. Standing in the lanai, we could see a bit of the ocean. At that time we lived in Dallas, and I was sorely in need of a water fix so initially disappointed, but it didn't last long. First, you are rarely in your room, but secondly the scene was constantly changing as storms built up by the mountains, rain came, rainbows came, double rainbows came. It was phenomenally beautiful! I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you--you will entertained with ever changing scenery even (or especially) if your room looks back on the mountains.

The partial ocean view rooms have wonderful views at the Hyatt. I love the mountain view too. Those gorgeous mountains with the rainbows everywhere are just awesome. I don't think you could really even get a bad view there. The place is spectacular. Enjoy!
