Unless anybody else has anything negative to say, I am keeping my reservations for this hotel since they have a great deal of getting my second room for only $66. I appreciate all the feedback.
By the way, has anyone been to Cafe Oasis inside? Or, maybe the rooftop, I think it might be called Equinox? Is either of them kid friendly? Good food? Worthwhile?

Never eaten at the restaurants in the Hyatt, have had a drink in the Equinox so that a friend could see the view. IMO there are many better places to eat in SF.

I think you will be fine. I consider this a business hotel and have stayed their on several occasions. The Ferry building has just been completely renovated and you can enjoy the new restaurants, shops and the Farmer's market. The Park Hyatt is only a few blocks away so their is no real difference between the two in terms of location. Enjoy! Equinox is a revolving restaurant. I have never been their, but One Market is near the Hyatt and quite good, or you can try Tadich Grill(a traditional tourist spot for seafood) or Kokkari a Greek restaurant with positive reviews.

The Hyatt Embarcadero is a fine location. I have been to the Equinox for a drink but have not eaten there.
