Hyatt Kauai-Day Spa Pass

Does anyone know what is included in the spa day pass at the Hyatt Kauai? It is only $30 (for non guests) so it can't include too much, but what areas of the resort does it give you access to? I want to send my younger sister there for the afternoon during our trip but I cannot tell from the spa website what is included. Has anyone bought the day pass?

I haven't used the day pass but I have stayed at the hotel a couple of times and used the Spa. The spa is its own private section of the hotel and so I think it would give you access to the spa area but NOT the regular pools. At the spa there's a small pretty lap pool, and in the changing areas there are all the normal fecilities plus an outdoor jacuzzi and swiss showers (lots of jets) looking out on a small outdoor garden. There is also an air conditioned workout room. Most places like this include classes in the pass...yoga, aerobics etc but I don't remember if that was true at the Hyatt. Obviously if you have a treatment the facilities are your to use befor or after.
Hope that helps.

I think the above poster is correct, for $30 you are not going to get access to the main pools, just access to the lap pool in the spa area.

Kikahead - I agree w/welltraveledbrit- I had a gift certificate to the Hyatt for Spa services and was able to use the lap pool area, showers, hot tub, changing area, but not any of the Hotel Facilities. It was a great few hours, since I was staying on the northshore, spent the day exploring, went for my treatment, then went to dinner near the Hyatt w/o having to go go back to the northshore to shower/change.

Thank you for the replies--I assume then that a fitness center is in the spa part? The website is very vague. Thanks again to all who replied!!
