Hyatt in Anaheim--do you recommend?

Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt near Disneyland in Anaheim? We are eligible for free nights there and want to know if it is a good place to stay with little kids and if Disneyland and Knott's Berry are easy to get to from there. Thanks.

It's fine. It's new. Yes, it's close to those parks. But rent a car because the shuttles are crowded and not worth the wait. The Hyatt might have a daily charge for parking, so inquire in advance.

FYI: We really liked the Hilton Garden Inn (next door to the Hyatt) during our last Anaheim stay. Great, clean rooms with refrig, microwave. Gym, pool, 24 hr laundry...Beppo's was next door for take out...and it was an incredible value. Oh - and great breakfast buffet.

I highly recommend it over the Hyatt or the bigger hotels in Anaheim. But you say you have free nights - so I can't argue about that! :-)

-darvy

Thanks, darvy. Yes, we don't have much of a choice considering it's free--but at least it's the Hyatt. Just wanted to make sure it's worth staying there (even if it's free).

Are you talking about the Hyatt Regency Alicante?
