Hyatt Embarcadero San Francisco
Second trip to SFO. The first time stayed @ Fishermans Wharf. Found a great rate for this Hyatt. Traveling alone, so safety is a big issue. Any opinions, please?

I don't think you will have any safety issues in that area, always people around. And you will be in the middle of restaurants and public transportation.

Thank you!

How good was your rate? I booked for March and got 3 days for 224 and one day for 254. It has been 20 years since I have been to SF. I liked the HE, because of it's location. I thought I would ride Bart from airport. When is your trip? I would like to hear from someone who goes before I do. My wife and daughter have never been, so this is going to be our spring break.

((Y))((Y)) for Hyatt Embarc.
Close to the Ferry Bldg and a few other good restaurants. Like any big city, be aware. |
Close to me - I work in the next building! It's a great neighborhood for public transportation, near a lot of good restaurants, the Ferry Bldg., the Bay, you can even walk to AT&T Park in one direction, Fisherman's Wharf in the other, easy walk to Chinatown, nice walk to North Beach. It's as safe as any other "working" neighborhood in any big city.

Piggy back to this thread.
Mom and I are staying at the Hyatt. What's good for breakfast nearby? Looking for casual places; can be sit-down or just counter-service (as long as there are tables to sit). Any cuisine is fine, Chinese food even better. |
Chinese food even better.
For breakfast? I never eat breakfast around here, but for Chinese food, just know that Chinatown is easy (EASY) walking distance. Others will recommend specific restaurants. |
