Hyatt Chesapeake?

Has anyone been here? Any thoughts on a long weekend trip from with an infant coming from NJ? This board is strangely silent on what is a major new resort in a highly populated area.

Hi

I can only guess that part of the reason the board is quiet is because the Hyatt is located in the small town of Cambridge Maryland. It's a gorgeous place (I've passed it on my way to the beach) located more on a boaters' waterfront, not a beach waterfront and really, it is NOT in a highly populated area.

Cambridge is not really known as a lively, resort town but more as a quiet, waterman's home.

But then that's MHO.

When I said "highly populated area" I meant that Cambridge is in short driving distance to NYC, DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, etc.

Sorry - I likened it to Chesapeake City Maryland which is also on the water and convenient to the same cities but not a great tourist attraction.

Hopefully you or someone will stay at the Hyatt in Cambridge and rate it nicely.

first there isnt many new post for Maryland on here. second, not much to do out in Cambridge. I agree its not far from NJ and would be a great Sat/Sun trip if you want relaxation. I guess being winter time, I dont have any real reasons to go towards the beach or eastern shore. Enjoy the delicious crap soup!
