Hyatt at Beaver Creek

Has anybody stayed at the Hyatt? Any info please!

I have been to the Hyatt several times and it is a fabulous property. It is not a huge resort but very tastefully done and the service is fantastic. It is pricey and that would have to be a consideration in your factor to stay there. But quiet frankly most things are expensive in the Vail Valley. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Thanks Kelle. Can you tell me when it comes to clothing I've heard everything is very casual--true?

The Hyatt Beaver Creek (which is up there on my all-time list of great places to stay) is "resort casual." Jeans OK for most areas, but "dressy" jeans outfits--not jeans and a t-shirt. You get the idea. I have a friend who works for Hyatt and this is her favorite property worldwide--worth the stiff price tag in her opinion and mine.

Concur completely with the other posters. The room rates are astronomical during the ski season, but you can stay there between seasons at relatively reasonable rates (I've done it in the $125 a night range within the past two years in the off-season). This is definitely a high-end property and we found it to be impeccable.

I found it a bit "stuffy" for my taste. But we were there in the off season without any skiers. We enjoyed the hotels and the people in Breckenridge much more. JMHO
