How's traffic around 3pm on Sat going to Back Bay area?

Hi,

We'll start our New England trip by flying into Boston airport this Saturday. The plane lands around 3pm. We'll be staying at the Back Bay hotel. Is traffic bad around that time of day? We were thinking of taking a cab to the hotel but if the traffic is bad, we will take the T instead. Looked manageable on the MBTA site. Blue line and switch to Orange line right?

Take a cab if that is what you were planning at first. Unless something unusual happens in the tunnel under Boston Harbor - like an accident - it should be fine. And since much of the trip is on city streets, there are multiple options.

Have a nice trip.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about traffic at all.

Shouldn't be a problem at all, unless there's an accident; or if there's some walkathon-type event going on that closes some of the streets. I haven't noticed any such event planned for this weekend.

Thanks everyone.
Even my 6 year old is helping to pack already because she can't wait.

Good advice above and I hope that you have a great time in Boston!
