How's the Lobster in ME this year?

I know last summer they were saying there was a shortage in the early part of the summer. Any word on the supply this summer? We'll be heading up there in July.

The lobster business in Maine will be hoping the Canadians have a healthy appetite for lobsters this year. Most of us here in the US will be too busy paying for gas with our measly dollars.

U may be right about that...

We're about to depart for a week at a rental cottage on the coast of Maine.

I'll post about the lobster (and other seafood) when we get back!

Thank you, RetiredVer. -- that would be great. Where in Maine will u be?

I've never ran into a lobster that I didn't like, regardless of the time of year!

Hi Yes,

I just got back from a week in Maine...there was no lobster shortage to be had! I was in Bar Harbor then Camden, ME - plenty of lobster to go around and quite good. Have fun when you go! I loved my time there.

Good news! how were the prices on the lobster rolls? Seems like each year they go up a couple $$s...no different than anythign else I guess
