We took the ferry one time to go to Latitudes, the restaurant on Sunset Key. It was free. Maybe they're charging now...or are charging for the people who don't have connections to the Hilton.

To KWLocalsCan: The locals may not stay in the hotels but I'm sure they have friends and relatives who do. Homes are expensive and land is at a premium so most people don't live in 4 and 5 bedroom houses. Furthermore, most of the locals are originally from somewhere else.

It is also such a small community that most would know the behind the scenes gossip of most places and/or have or know somebody who works in the industry. I still would trust the locals.
