How's New York, New York??

We are a 30-something childless couple and will be in Vegas for two nights. Looking for a nice, but reasonable hotel.

Thanks.

Check the rates and go with the cheapest of this lot: Paris, Luxor, Monte Carlo, NY NY, Treasure Island, Aladdin. Check rates several different ways, including www.lvrs.com and www.180096hotel.com

I've gotten good rates from tripres.com for Las Vegas, you pay them in advance the the prices are great (all major Las Vegas hotels). I've also used them to send some of our sales team to Vegas for a convention.. they were the only people actually able to get me a good deal during a convention weekend. At a great hotel as well.

Stayed a New York, New York the first year it was open. I really enjoyed myself. Check-in was a breeze the staff was very nice, entertainment great. I've read on another forum about people complaining about the noisy rollercoaster. I can't remember the rollercoaster bothering me at all. The coaster doesn't run all night anyway. The casino itself is pretty noisy but a lot of fun. Pretty good restaurants too.

If I were you, I would look into Paris ..their rates have been pretty competitive and their rooms are nicer than Treasure Island and Monte Carlo. they also offer a Triple AAA rate. Also ask if they have a special internet rate and often they will offer it to you over the phone. Never take the first rate they suggest. NYNY is a fun, sensory overload type of place but far too busy in my opinion. I have heard that the rooms are quite small as well. Certainly worth a visit, but wouldn't stay here.
