How's Croces restaurant in San Diego?

Was just watching "Food Nation" on Food TV and they were featuring, among other restaurants in San Diego, Croce's. How's the food there? Atmosphere? Looks good on TV but sometimes things that are so hyped....

croce's is in the gaslamp area of san diego. very popular with lots of restaurants and bars. don't know about the food but the atmosphere is nice. just go waunder around. if croce's doesn't look like it meets your needs, there are lots of other places to choose from within blocks of each other.

I ate there 2 years ago and really liked it! I saw Croces featured on Food Tv, too. Good food..a little expensive. There are a lot of great restaurants in that area. Fun to walk around at night.<BR>

I like Croce's. The food is good, and for a pretty well-known place it's very low-key. I have never heard the music in the bar, but that looks like fun too. I can't remember any stand-out dishes, but i have enjoyed it the couple of times I've been.

We also ate at Croce's after seeing the Food TV special. The food was pretty good, it was expensive, but we ate outside on the patio and it was great people, sunset watching. Don't know about the music in the bar either.
