Howard Johnson in San Diego

Has anyone stayed in the Howard Johnson Inn Seaworld in San Diego on 3330 Rosecrans St. If you have please let me know of your opinion.

Thanks!!

I have never stayed there but any motel on Rosecrans is not going to be a prime spot. Rosecrans is a very busy major street and the area can be safe or not so safe depending on where its located on Rosecrans. I would suggest that you look in Old Town and Hotel Circle areas. Each have moderately priced hotels and are very centrally located. A good website for San Diego lodging info is www.uniontrib.com

Paul,

Thanks for the advice how about the Howard Johnson Mission Valley at 1631 Hotel Circle South?

Hotel Circle is a place for moderately priced and centrally located hotels/motels. I would recommend that area over Rosecrans. But I am not familiar with that specific HJ.

You might always want to stay in Mission Bay. The Mission Bay Hilton is nice, as well as the Paradise resort. I hear they have some great deals right now. Hotel circle is in a valley with a freeway. OK for staying, but don't plan on walking anywhere.
