How to transport newly purchased beach chairs, mats, noodles, coolers, etc when taking Hawaiian inter-island flights?
We are spending a week on Maui and then 5 nights on Kaui. We planned on picking up some travel beach chairs, noodles, a cooler, etc on Maui when we arrive. We will want them on Kaui too, and are flying inter-island air from OGG to LIH, it is a non-stop flight.
How have others handled the transport - do we just gate check? Should we just leave everything on Maui and repurchase on Kaui? That seems time consuming and wasteful tho....
Any suggestions to make this easy?

A lot of times, condos will be stocked with the items you mention, or available at the management office. We've rented them on the islands, as they are cheap and you don't have to lug them on an inter-island trip. Sometimes, you can buy them as cheap as renting them-- and then you can leave them behind in the condo for others to enjoy.

In our Condo on Kauai they had beach chairs and beach towels. We brought our own cooler from home. We packed it full of stuff like our snorkel gear and large beach towels etc. We left it untaped until the ticket agent at the airport told us it was fine and then we duct taped it closed. On the outside we wrote (in perm marker) our name and address. We still have the ice chest and when we see the faded marker we have fond memories of Kauai.
My sis took beach chairs with her all the way from the main land. They were bungee corded together and were handled just like all the other luggage.
I'd call your lodging to see what's available so you don't have to buy or lug stuff unnecessarily.

Good ideas so far!
We are not staying at a condo, we are staying at Marriotts. I will check to see if the hotel offers equipment we can "check out" and use.
I could bring an extra, empty suitcase to stuff it all in or even bring my noodles and a cooler from home and just buy beach chairs there.

I would buy the type beach chairs that fold up and fit into a bag.
As far as cooler and noodles - while I am frugal in both life and travel, if I felt the need to have them in 2 places and could not easily transport, I would give them away at stop 1 and buy new ones at stop 2. And under no circumstances would I bring them home nor would I haul an extra suitcase.
If you are spending 2 weeks in Hawaii this amount, probably under $50, would be a miniscule amount of cost of the entire trip and far too small in both percentage and actual dollars to spend anytime stressing over.
