How to find a cheap flight?

Am looking for ideas on how to find a cheap flight from Tampa, FL to either Columbus, OH or Dayton, OH over 4th of July weekend. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?
Thanks,
Lisbeth

Have you tried the usual suspects? Orbitz, Expedia, cheapticket, etc.

Yes, I have been checking those sites every few days. Haven't found anything below $204 for Tampa to Columbus. Was hoping for a little better deal.

$204 is pretty good going to a place like Columbus. Seems unltikely that it will get better. How much cheaper do you want?

Are you flexible enough to consider Priceline and Hotwire.

You're not going find anything lower than that. Even Southwest's lowest "Fun Fare" is $109 each way on this route, plus tax.

Greyhound has a non-refundable fare of $195.00. It's a $9 savings.
