How to dress for dinner in Honolulu?

We will be meeting our friends in Honolulu for dinner next Tuesday and would like to know how to dress for dinner?

I don't think we have to worry about being under- or over-dressed on Maui or Kauai, but in Honolulu?

Honolulu is very formal for dinner. Men are required to wear a coat and tie in any respectable resturant, while women are suggested to wear an appropriate evening gown.

Most places casual but nice will be fine. YOu can dress pretty much like you would in any other city in the summer..slacks and aloha/polo/or dress shirt for men, casual dress or nice pants outfit for women.

Grass skirt and coconut shell bra for the ladies, loincloth and warpaint for the gentlemen.

Where are you eating? Most places accept "casual but smart" attire. To be safe, dont wear shorts to dinner.

For any nice restaurant you should dress Smart Casual - which would be nice slacks and blouse, skirt and blouse, or one-piece for ladies.

xxx has clearly been a bit too deep into the absinthe so forgive him. Hope is just coming back from an appointment with her Neuro-Proctologist and, while the therapy is going well, she has more treatments to go before a cure is possible.

Oh! Kincaid's is pretty casual since it is in a shopping center and near the movie theaters. You *could* get away with nice walking shorts for dinner there.
