You will be amazed at the beauty in Alaska.The contrast of the blue ocean and blue sky and the mountains and white glaciers will just take your breadth away.It is amazing. Just bring lots of bug spray as the mosquitos are as big as birds.! LOL!

My DH's uncle was one of the original settlers in Seward and many of his personal possessions are in the museum in Seward.He was stationed in the area during WW2 in the Coast Guard and just found it to beautiful to leave. His widow still volunteers at the museum and the Sea life aquarium. You will enjoy the kayaking off the coast of Seward around the Glaciers. The full day boat ride out of Seward is a definite must do.
