How much time?

I'm going to be in Nashville in a few weeks. I've been there before but I'm curious as to how much time some of the sites require. The ones I am unsure of are: Ryman Backstage Tour, Parthenon, and State Capitol & Museum. Also, has anyone walked from the Broadway area up to the state capitol? I know it isn't that far but how is the walk?

You might want to post something about Nashville in your title so people who know something about the area can respond, and those of us who don't won't waste time opening your post.

I did. I realized after the fact I forgot Nashville in the title.

It's about a 4 block walk from Broadway to the capitol, fairly hilly, but not difficult unless you have some physical issues. It's hard to say how long it would take to go through the Parthenon and state museum, depends on how long you look at things, but neither one is very large and can be seen within an hour. I have not done Ryman. There is a military branch of the state museum (or used to be) near the capitol, you might ask about this in the state museum, it is small but interesting.

I assume you will have a car? The parthenon is several miles away from downtown. I lived for years in Nashville, feel free to anything else.

Bob, thank you for the help. I figured the walk would be fine but wanted to make sure. Yes, I will have a car on my first day there when I will be seeing the Parthenon. I absolutely love Nashville! I've thought about moving there.
