How is this Location in Seattle Washington
For anyone familiar with Seattle, is this a good location in Capital Hill?

I’ve lived in Seattle for 30 years and I do endorse that location. I have been lurking on your other thread and recognize that people with different life philosophies and perspectives may disagree. If you want a lively city location with restaurants, then yes. If you want a pristine suburban location, then go to Lynnwood.

We like to be able to walk to restaurants in the evening and have public transportation to get around. Appreciate your thoughts. |
Looks like it's on the "Pike/Pine Corridor"? Hard to tell exactly on the map which street it's facing. Basically that's a hipster neighborhood. Bars, restaurants, bookstores, thrift stores, etc. Would be a little too busy for me, quite densely populared area... but probably OK for a vacation stay. I'm just not a fan of the area around Cal Anderson parks (where the protests happened back when). I don't think it's dangerous but I'd be more careful there after dark, than I would say somewhere up around Volunteer Park instead.
