HOW IS RAMADA INN DOWNTOWN IN NEW ORLEANS?

Hello!

Is the Ramada Inn Downtown a good place to stay? Is it far from the French Quarter? What type of transportation would you take from there to the French Quarter?

I'm not familiar with this Ramada Inn but generally, I don't think Ramada hotels are anything special. I would recommend the Marriott though which is very close to the French Quarter. We were pleased and would certainly stay there again. Kyle

Address?

It depends. There's a Ramada on Bourbon that is centrally located.
The downtown location I'm guessing is closer to the library and up near the city hall offices. This area isn't great, and I surely wouldn't want to be walking back there after dark.
If you know the address, that would be helpful, but if it isn't on Bourbon, I think it's the one I'm thinking about.

Thanks for the information. I have decided not to stay at the Ramada and have booked other accomodations.
