How important is A/C in August?

We're thinking of booking the Harborview Inn for 2 nights in the middle of August but it does not have A/C. The inn is several blocks from the harbor - should we look for someplace else?

Anchorage?

Alabama?

If in Alaska, don't worry about the AC. If it is in Florida, forget about renting it without.

Alabama? Ivan took our Harbor. Try Mississippi!

I want to play the game too! Is it Southern California?

Maryvh, we don't see the posts by state, it looks to us as a general USA post.

It couldn't be in Florida. If there were an inn without air conditioning in Florida, it would be out of business!!!

maryvh Jan 26th, 2005 10:23 AM

Sorry. I should have previewed my post. The inn is in Seward, Alaska.

Gardyloo Jan 26th, 2005 10:26 AM

Not.

If they are a hotel without air conditioning, it means they do not need airconditioning.

mary,

I really was thinking of some smart alec comment but you got those already.

Have a good trip!

I googled "Harborview Inn". 75,000 hits and one located in every city that has a harbor (and quite a few that don't).
