How good is this hotel??
I have booked Hyatt Regency Mccormick Place, which in Martin Luther King Drive for my trip to Chicago.
Is it a nice hotel?? )i read some bad reviews on it later :( really concerned about it. Also how close is it to all the tourist spots like the Navy Pier, Sears towers etc?? Thanks. |
Have you looked at the website for the hotel? http://mccormickplace.hyatt.com/property/index.jhtml
It has directions and maps and information about the surrounding area. It looks pretty central to a lot of great things like the Field Museum. If it's not walking distance you're in luck becuase Chicago has a great mass transit system. As far as how nice it is, it's a newer Hyatt...how bad can it be? Different people are going to have different experiences.... |
Thanks Sandy! What you said is true! people have different exp?? i was just stressing out for no reason! And as you said, if it is a new Hyatt, i am sure it will have some decent standard. i am glad that you told me that it is near to some prime spots, majes me feel that i did a good booking :)

Although I don't know anything about the hotel, the location is out of the way for most Chicago stuff. It is close to the Field Museum, Planetarium and Aquarium.

The hotel is a business hotel/convention hotel. It is not a good choice for a vacation- it's not close to the tourist spots. I'd advise changing your reservation if you can.

Ditto -- not a good location, not on any public transport lines, not walkable anywhere. Change your location.
