How far is the train station from airport?
I'm flying into Philly from Phoenix this weekend. My friend was going to drive from Mays Landing to pick me up. But someone here advised me on taking a train from 30th St station to Egg Harbor instead, which sounds probably better than for her to drive that whole way. But how far from the airport is the train station?

What you want to do, is to take the R1 SEPTA train (a commuter train) from your airport terminal. It will stop at 30th street station, where you can change for the Amtrak.
The R1 train has a station at every terminal, so it's fairly user-friendly.
The ride is about 25 minutes.

Sorry, it's not Amtrak you'll be changing for at the 30th Street Station. Probably the NJ Transit train. Either way, the R1 will get you from the Airport to 30th Street STation.
Alternatively, you can take a cab. I believe there's a flat rate from the airport into town. It used to be $20, but I don't what it is now.
The SEPTA R1 costs around $7 or so.

BTW, the R1 SEPTA train runs fairly frequent, but you might want to check NJ transit website for train schedule from Philadelphia 30th Street Station to Egg Harbor City. It probably doesn't run too often.

You want the Atlantic City Line of NJ Transit.
Hopefully this link to the schedule will work:
