It's about 100 miles/2hours' drive.

Better to do it in reverse: Laughlin to Las Vegas. Once you've been to Las Vegas, Laughlin will likely turn out to be a great disappointment.

I've also heard that Laughlin is disappointing, but I'd like to see it just once. Thanks for your reply.

Laughlin is not Las Vegas; however, it has its own place, and not crowded. There are things to see at the Riverside, and an excellent Prime Rib restaurant. The Flamingo usually has some show, with mid-week rooms at $19 and $35 for river view. Edgewater (didn't care for their rooms)has a good buffet. There are boat rides on the river, and a nice riverwalk to stroll or sit and watch the boats go by. Also, there is a small mall across the street with outlet stores, and theater. Of course, this time of year it is hot. Go with a good attitude, it's quite relaxing.

Casinos with windows. Non-smoking casinos. Low-rollers casinos. Ample RV parking. Occasional biker aggro. Plus you can say you've been to Bullhead City. What's not to like?

Hi we were in Vegas last November and we drove to Laughlin. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get there. We both enjoyed it since it was quieter there and low keyed. To make it better I wond $1100 on a slot machine and it was our next to last night in Vegas so it made up for our loses. Also people in the casinos were much warmer and friendlier.

About 2 hours - like the others have mentioned, Laughlin is NO Vegas. Also, the weather is typically 10 degrees warmer. However if you have the time to check it out, it does have its own charm.

I work with one of the hotels there - email me for rates.

Thanks and ENJOY!
