how do you pronounce FODORS?

It has come to my attention that I am pronouncing Fodors incorrectly.

Is it Fodors, rhyming with VOTERS....
OR
Fodors, rhyming with ummm...POD-ERS.

It's the same as if it didn't have the "F".

The official website guidance says it rhymes with "motors," so that's the same as "voters" (at least around here). Were you pronouncing it like "fodder"?

FOE-doors

good question! I have always pronounced it like foe-doors

Leave it to this Texan to call it FOE-DERS... FOE-DOORS is just plain hard for me to say.

Whenever I have a question, I research first ... I seldom need to start a thread since I almost always find the answer by doing a search.

For example, I searched for "pronounce fodors" and found:

I bought the Fodors Italian CDs and the lady who welcomed us on the CD pronounced it "FOE-DERS."

I guess I have been pronouncing it wrong too.
rb_travelerx.. don't sound so pretentious. I wouldn't have thought to search for that thread either. Can't you just answer the question??

Ahhh the odors of fodors. How frequently they surface!
