I used to have hard plastic luggage and I threw on a couple stickers to differentiate my luggage from similar others (to identify it quickly in baggage claim). Now I have soft canvas luggage and I'm curious how others "mark" their luggage as theirs. Stickers won't stick to it and I'd like to avoid using a big red bow

You can buy luggage straps in different colors & designs at luggage stores, Conatiner Store. But alot of people use a strip of colored duct tape.

I got some wonderful Hawaiian stencils, gold fabric paint, and stenciled my very-non-descript bags.

Now I can spot them on the airport luggage carousels with ease! 8-)

I fasten brightly colored key rings I've received as promotions to the handles of my suitcases. It works great.

I use a multi-colored, large fabric ribbon tied in a bow around the handle of my bag - I never have a problem spying it on the carousel. A cheap scarf would work well too, just make sure it's knotted securely.

I have tied the same brightly colored ribbons on all of our suitcases. There are lots and lots of ribbons on them.

I have luggage straps bought at a luggage store. They fasten by velcro and can really be seen. I have a variety of them, all blue and green, some striped.

two bright yellow tape "stripes" on each handle of the suitcase. Lasts for a long time, too.

I bought multi-colored curly ribbon bows in the gift wrap dept. of local drug store and tied them on my luggage. Get lots of comments re: how easy to spot/great idea, etc.

My friend used a white marker to draw polka dots all over her standard black rollercase.

I attach a large bell to the handle... that way, if someone tries to make off with it, I can hear it!

I use strips of colored electrical tape on a couple of the hard surfaces (near the wheels, handle, by the reinforced cornors, etc.) of my luggage. It's inexpensive, effective and easy to spot.

I put a favorite photo (usually a pup) and a business card or my contact info back to back and have it laminated into a luggage tag. Kinko's, the UPS store (and some hotel lobbys do it for their guests) and I have a unique luggage tag.

I used tape on our old suitcases to create a large "S" on both sides. After being through a few plane flights, it started to look pretty trashy. But we always knew which black suitcases were ours!

I recieved dog bone luggage tags as a gift. There is a small plastic window for a photo of a pup. Instantly recognizable!
