How crowded is Madame Tussauds in NYC?

A friend told me Madame Tussauds Wax Museum was a fun experience. Just wondering how long are the lines to get in & is it very crowded once inside? Will be going the week after Thanksgiving.

We went late in the day and there was no line at all. I went because I was with a 13-year-old, and she really liked it. To me, it was a novelty and interesting only in that I kept being surprised by the statues' heights. You know, wow, Trump is really tall, Napoleon wasn' that short etc. etc.

I was there a couple of years ago over Labor Day weekend. We were afraid of long lines so we got there right when they opened. There were no lines to speak of and it wasn't at all crowded.

Unlike the London one the Mme Tussaud's in NYC is not esp popular - and lines are rare.
