I'm bummed to hear the Warwick is changing. That hotel holds some special memories for me. :(

Thanks for all the help. I just booked a room at the Hampton Inn Houston near the Galleria because Continental Airlines gave me a partner-price of under $100 and the hotel is an easy trip to visiting my sister in the Montrose District. She was very concerned I not end up in a traffic jam trying to get to her place, and this one seemed to be on the right side of everything to avoid that.

The hotel also gets nice comments on tripadvisor, so that was a plus too. (And free parking.)
