Houston airport question

I have 50 minutes between flights into and out of IAH. Land in terminal B, depart terminal C. This is a new airport for me ---any problems to be expected? Thanks.

You should be fine - there is a tram that connects the terminals and you will stay in the secure area so won't have to go through screening between flights. Don't dawdle, but don't worry, either.

I agree that you should be okay, but I don't think that tram is inside the secure area. I recall that you have to exit through the baggage claim area to catch it...

It would be nice if you were still in a secure area. Since we usually fly Southwest into Houston Hobby, we don't have that luxury. Due to the Wright Amendment, Southwest Airlines can only fly to connecting states from Dallas Love Field. When we fly to Florida, we board in Dallas Love Field, fly to Houston Hobby, leave plane, stand in line for security check, board new plan, fly to Florida. We now plan for delays during the Houston security recheck.

Tio, if you don't have to retrieve checked luggage you can connect between terminals B and C totally within the secure area. The drop off point in C is an elevated station on the north side nearest the concourse with gates C14-27 and the D gates.
