House Rental in Southern Fla.

Can anyone recommend a nice beachfront house rental in southern Fla.,for the month of Feb. Four bedrooms and must be near golf course.
Am I asking for too much?

Many places are already booked for the Jan/Feb/March months. You can check on VRBO.com and vacationrentals.com and vacationhomerentals.com. You should also check craigslist.com for Miami under vacation rentals.

Good luck.

"Am I asking for too much?"

No, but unless you're willing to pay something like $20,000 minimum in our part of Southwest Florida, you'll probably think the owners are asking for too much.

Oops. Sorry, I was thinking condominium apartment, not house. Yes, you are asking too much here. Not sure where to even look for a four bedroom beachfront house.

Here's one for $9500 / month - Ft. Laud, Harbor Island
http://www.vrbo.com/62657

It does look like it's going to be hard to find a 4BR BEACHFRONT, though.

Happy shopping!

Have you tried VRBO.com?

Remember many have 3 month rentals.

If you have an idea of where you would like to go, then check out the on-line newspapers in those areas. Also contact Realtors in various areas and speak to someone in their Property Management departments for rentals. There are many of those available in Florida, but as others said you may be out of luck this late in the game to find *exactly* what you want.

I typed into a websearch

vacation rental AND beachfront AND florida AND golf

and got a bunch of websites. The first one I clicked was http://www.gulfcoastrentals.com/default.htm which, when I picked North Captiva Island, gave me this

http://www.gulfcoastrentals.com/flor...th-captiva.htm

There are at least 20 other locations on that website. If you really don't care where in Fla. there should be plenty of options, especially if price isn't too much of an issue.

In addition to VBRO.com, you may also want to check www.vacationrentals.com.

Both offer alot of options
