Hotels with walk-in closets?

We are planning a trip to Hawaii in May and need to find a kid-friendly hotel that has walk-in closets in the rooms. This is so that we can fit a portable crib in there in order to put my toddler to bed earlier than we go to bed.

We haven't even narrowed down which island we are going to, so any and all recommendations would be great. The only place I know of so far is the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island, but we're not jazzed about going there so would love other suggestions.

Thanks!

Are you looking for a walk-in closet with a window, or no window?

I recommend getting a condo or villa instead of a hotel room. Lots of room to put baby "down" for the night, a kitchen to make those baby foods, and a bargain compared to a hotel room.

Oh, will there be enough oxygen for the baby to breeze?

We took our granddaughter to the Grand Hyatt in Kauai this past summer. WE had the hotel bring up a crib to the room and also a mini fridge (in addition to the mini bar. The rooms are so large there, we just put the crib in the hall area where the door to the room is and kept it dark. She slept great while the TV was on around the corner. The hotel is extra kid friendly, has a wonderful lagoon pool with sand bottom. Complimentary washer and dryer at the hotel, too.

Is there a reason you don't want a normal 1-bedroom suite? The kid goes to bed in the bedroom and you stay up in the living area?

Why don't you just put the crib out in the hallway and the kid can sleep there.
