Hotels with 2 queen beds

I know this has been asked before but searching old posts didn't turn up my answer. What hotels offer 2 queen beds in their "standard" rooms. Squeezing in to a full (double) leaves us all a bit cranky in the a.m. Thanks

Many do all over the world.

Where are you going?

We're actually traveling over several Midwestern states and I'm trying to figure out stops along the way. I guess I was asking about different hotel chains in general that offer two queens in their standard rooms.

Marriott Courtyards often have queen beds instead of doubles.

Sometimes, though, I think their queens are really doubles. They call them queens but they don't feel that big. With my family on road trips, I like to stay in the discount chains that have suites, and I usually choose the most recently built inn. We have stayed at Best Westerns and Residence Inns and Courtyards, depending on the hotels, prices, etc. We used to like Hampton Inns & Suites, but the newer ones don't have suites in two rooms, rather one large room, and it's not as good with little kids.

Why not to book rooms with king size bed. We always book king size bed. Marriott's hotels have king size beds except Residence Inn furnished with queen beds.

We are traveling with more than 2 people so a King bed doesn't work. We also have teens (tall kids) who don't fit well on doubles or hid-a-beds. We usually end up getting two rooms or a suite because we are a family of 5 and it is hard to accomodate us in one room. I'll check on Marriott's, any other suggestions?

Hi fun2travel,
I agree that Marriott's Residence Inn would be ideal for you. We are a family of four and the two boys need a queen or their own space. Fairfield Inn (Marriott)has two queens in a standard room. But with Residence Inn you have a variety of set-ups like 2bedroom/2baths. Both places also include breakfast (Residence Inn's is more extensive) and with hungry teens that is a savings too. We have stayed in these properties in many states and found them to be clean and reasonable. I certainly understand the crankiness part - been there! Good luck.

We lucked out at a Comfort Inn last weekend that had a King and a Queen in a standard room.

When we book on line with a national chain we always know how many beds we will have and what size they will be.
