The Imperial Palace and O'Sheas are almost Centered on the strip, so their location is pretty good for non-mega hotels(approx. across the street from Ceasars Palace).Good walkable locations for the Mirage,Flamingo area.Have fun

< BR>

< BR>

< BR>

< BR>

Just stayed at the Palace last week. It's middle of the road as far as vegas hotels. (Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay Bay are far better) They did upgrade me immediately to a Tower room although the view was fair anyway. It's off the strip about a 1/4 mile but they do have a shuttle bus every hour on the that worked well. they also were very accommodating on a late checkout. I'd stay there again. The rate was great and the room was nice too.

You just got back from WHAT PALACE???
Vegas is full of Palaces...
Palace Station
Ceasar's Palace
Imperial Palace

IP and CP are right on the strip, so I assume you mean PS...but CP has Tower rooms also.
PS is about the smelliest hotel I've ever been in in LV. Stanky old place. Great if you're a heavy smoker with cataracts, though.

We stayed at the Barbary Coast, center strip opposite the Bellagio and Caesars Palace. Got a good price booking on the net and we loved it. Small friendly hotel, Big location and Big on service,
Dave

Palace Station is NOT on the strip. The other two are. They aren't all that great of places though, you could do much better. The location is good though if you're on a tight budget but if you can get another hotel at a comprable price, I'd go elsewhere.

Make sure you try http://www.travelworm.com for hotels in Vegas and Reno. Do your homework first to figure out which hotels are on the strip (if that's what you want), then find the best price.

Andrew
I P is right on the strip in the center of the action. An older hotel, very mediocre except for the location. P S is a bargain, way off the strip but with a shuttle bus day and night to a couple of locations on the strip.

O Shea's is just a casino, no hotel. Don't know how in the world you got a good rate there!
