Hotels on Hotwire

Different websites rate the same hotels at very different star ratings. I have found Priceline pretty accurate. Has anyone used Hotwire for hotels and, if so, does there hotel rating seem accurate? I am currently checking out hotels for honolulu and they have the best rate for three star hotels.

one's person's 3 stars is anothers 2. any idea what hotels? guess not with priceline. i'd be leery though in Honolulu some of the 3 stars are quite small and not that good (location, noise, amenities etc.

Use betterbidding.com and see if you can match the hotel using the amenities.

I went there and found two 3* Hotwires hotels in the Oahu (near beach):

3* Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
Customer Favorite
Amenities: Near Beach, Restaurant, Pool, Laundry

3* Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel
Amenities: Near Beach, Pool, Laundry

Then use Tripadvisor and check for comments.

Hotwire rates many hotels 1/2-1 star higher than Priceline.

Sometimes you can figure out the Hotwire hotels by shopping air fare and hotels, whereupon the names of the hotels are disclosed. You must be very familiar with the Hotwire "area".
