HOTELS near Rock Ctr?
 

Would someone name 3-4 hotels very close to rock center and that area pls? Moderately priced, if possible. Nothing over $225.00, again, if possible. Can't find a t hing on the internet and have looked at almost all web pages with hotel information...

Assuming you're talking about Rockefeller Center, the Sheraton NY, Sheraton Manhattan, and the NY Hilton & Towers are within 3-4 blocks and should be below $200 unless it's a busy time for them. <BR> <BR>Try www.sheraton.com and www.hilton.com

We just stayed at the Sheraton Manhattan. It was very nice. We were able to get a King room for $159 a night by watching their web page and paying for it up front. I couldn't see what difference it made if the charges were applied to the credit card at the end of the month or the beginning of the month. I called Sheraton reservations after I saw the rates and asked if they could get me the same, and they did.

Did you try travelweb.com? I usually do well there. You didn't specify a date but I checked the site and the hotels mentioned in previous replies showed up. I used to stay at Novotel many years ago and liked it. It is on 8th ave but on 52, only a short walk to Rock Center and closer to theatre.
