Hotels near Muir Woods?
 

Were looking for a Hotel near Muir Woods. We will be arriving into SF on Thursday morning 1/9 and want to go to Muir woods for the day then stay at for one night before we head to Calistoga for the weekend. Were staying at the Mountain View Hotel - I'm keeping my fingers crossed? Also need to know where to eat Thursday night after Hiking through Muir woods then on Saturday (1/11)somewhere in the Napa Valley area...Thanks Bethany<BR>

I've stayed at the Pelican Inn, on the coast. It's quaint, but we enjoyed it!<BR><BR>www.pelicaninn.com

I was going to suggest the Pelican Inn as well. It is right there at Muir Woods, has a cute restaurant and the rooms are very nicely done. You don't have to go anywhere, eat right there, or venture out to Sausalito and there are several restaurants right on the water.<BR><BR>Have a great time.

Bethany: The Pelican Inn would be a good choice and the dinning room is good, so, you don't have to travel all over the coast at night. You'll love Muir Woods, one of my favorite places. Be sure to allow enough time to do all of the trail (easy and well surfaced). Have a great trip.
