I've never seen The Tides Hotel in South Beach for under $400 per night and rooms at The Setai start at $800.

We enjoyed our stay at the Westin Embassy Row in DC. This was at the beginning of this month. We paid $75.00 on Priceline. We checked in early and asked for and got a King room.

Good luck and best wishes.

First of all I would like to thank you all for your answers. We deside to cut off the three extra days so we can add something to our budget. We look all the hotels mentioned and hopefully we'll decide in the weekend so we can book-we are going to ask opinions for the last time before booking.
Are there any suggestions for NY hotels for something about $450 per night?
About Miami we think that for us is better to stay in Miami as we are going to come from Orlando by car and keep it in Miami and gennerally we are more interest in cities than in beaches-we have plenty of them in Greece-.
Thanks again

Hi Nikgolas!

My suggestion to you would be the Biltmore in Coral Gables!

Historic and beautiful.

If you can rent the movie "Bad Boys" with Will Smith, the hotel scene was filmed there. Great views of the hotel.

Hi nikgolas...Welcome to the USA. You have many good ideas listed above. You need to get reservations made quickly.

One or two areas that I can help:
Orlando..do stay in one of the Disney properties - ideally one that is on the mono-rail system. It makes getting around the rather huge layout much easier. Otherwise, go for one of Disney's budget hotels. They are perfectly comfortable. This is a place where you don't need to spend a lot of money on the hotel.

NY...Someone mentioned the Salisbury. If it is available, it is an pretty good idea. It is a very basic hotel but it is safe, and in an excellent location near Central Park and the subway lines. I have stayed there several times.

One other comment, your plan for the number of nights in each location is very good. But, if you would add any nights, I would suggest that you add to Washington. There is much to do and see there and admission to many of the sites is free. By the way, Washington has an excellent metro system so you may be able to stay farther out of town as long as the metro access is good for the place you select.

Have a great trip. Very best wishes to you. I hope you find the same high level of hospitality here that we found in Greece.
