hotels big island

September 2021.....Big Island get away....Royal Kona, Courtyard King Kamehmeha Kona Beach Hotel or Sheraton Kona all within what I want to spend. Never stayed at any of these. Help in choosing please. I have to have an ocean front or great ocean view and these all have that.

Courtyard is usually quite a bit more expen$ive but perhaps you've found a good deal.

Sheraton rooms are definitely larger, but you'lll have to take the shuttle bus into town, it's a few miles away. And it's at more of a harbor/ cove than a beach.

Sorry I don't know anything about the Royal Kona.

We always stay north of the airport so can't help with Kona hotels.

Not a hotel, but we have liked Sea Village condos. It's a nice, small complex with grounds that are beautifully-maintained, with BBQs, free parking, a pool and free tennis courts. Complete kitchens, well-equipped. Very reasonably priced.
The condos are privately owned, and each is different. We have had great 2 bdrm/2ba units directly over the water.

aloha Shar,

Trip Advisor has very active Destination Forums for each island. Do ask your question (or read previous posts) over there as well.
