TXTravelpro, do you have any old mis-matched pillow cases in your linen closet? If so, take one of those along and dispose of it -- just an idea.

Our last stay included finding our bed without a mattess pad and a thin sheet barely covering the mattress -- yuck! The rack rate was $600+ per night, although we stayed on points.

No housekeeping at midnight, so I had to re-do the bed myself. That cost the hotel some of my points! I'm bringing my own pillowcases from now on too. Creepy.

Bedbugs are so tiny if they haven't eaten anything lately you might miss them when you look. Besides in mattresses they like to hide in the cracks of the moulding or baseboards; this is part of what makes them so hard to get rid of.

Just curious - what hotel had a $600 rack rate and skimpy sheets.

Lena, Marriott Resort on Hutchinson Island, FL. I'd write a trip report but I think I would exhaust myself telling you about our room changes -- quite the story.
