Hotels at LAX?
We have an overnight layover at LAX between flights. Which hotels near the airport do Fodorites recommend?
|
We always stay at the Marriott LAX. They have excellent shuttle service both ways as well as a great restaurant and bar. They also have scales in the lobby to weigh your luggage as well as other services for the traveler such as computers so you can check in , etc.. If you are there on a weekend night they have a $99 rate. Go directly to the Marriott web site.

Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard by Marriot, Foghorn Harbor Inn, Four Points LAX

On a budget, or if you have Hilton points but don't want to use them all, the Hampton Inn is better than I expected. Stayed there for 5 nights in January. Shuttle to airport, nice helpful staff, quiet.

Just stayed at Hilton LAX on Century. It was what we thought was an affordable government rate mid-week of $141 for one night. It was surprisingly quiet (couldn't hear plane overhead) and decent blackout curtains. The free shuttles didn't run quite as often as everyone hoped & made folks rush thru checkin to get to their gate. May stay again, especially if we can get some weekend special.
