Hotels around $150.00 in Manhattan, NYC
 

My husband and I will be in New York from 9-5 to 9-10. Last year we stayed at Hotel Edison, it is very reasonable, clean, etc at $145.00 per night, but we just called and they may be booked for that time we requested. Does anyone else have any suggestions for the Manhattan area. Hotel Edison is very convenient being around Times Square and the theatre district. Thanks. Pam

Try Days Inn Midtown. When we stayed there 3 yrs. ago Christmas they had a $99 a night special. Good luck.

Pam, please go back and read all the responses to Amy's post again. I noticed that you said she should have read your question carefully before responding, but you didn't do the same regarding her post. What she said was that she was looking for hotels under $150 "in New York City (or even Brooklyn!)." That is, she'd take Brooklyn if she couldn't find that rate in Manhattan. Every response to Amy's question mentions only hotels in Manhattan, exactly what you are looking for.

Try calling Andy Miller on 718-694-2273. In addition to a bed and breakfast he found us last year, he got us US Open tickets at cost. If he's still around, he's a good person to know.
