Hotel with ocean view in La Jolla
 

My son and family will be visiting us here in San Diego. They want a hotel probably in La Jolla with an ocean view. We live 3 or 4 miles from La Jolla and I am not sure of anything near us with an ocean view so La Jolla seems best. One hotel they heard of was Grande Colonial...any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Loisco, I stayed at the Grande Colonial in November 2008. Our ocean view room was in the neighborhood of $300 per night. The view is lovely but relatively small. If you click on my profile you can read my trip report on my stay there.

Grande Colonial Hotel was running a $199 special..love this place..heart of the village.
