Hotel tips Maui, and Kauai for our Honeymoon next summer?
Sorry if this is a repost but I dont seem to see the mesg I left last night?

I have been looking into hotels on Maui such as the Westin, Sharaton, and Marriott. ON Kauai I've checked out Princeville, Marriott and Hyatt.
Are there hotels that are great for a honeymoon? Or are there hotels that we should stay away from, that are more family oriented and lots of kids around?

I'm having a really difficult time picking a hotel (I'm really indecisive), any feedback would be so wonderful! Thank You

We just returned from Maui. All hotels on Kaanapali appeared to be kid and family oriented. Lots of people. For a more peaceful, romantic experience with more lush open spaces and less crowds I would recommend the Ritz Carlton or the Kapalua Bay Hotel both in Kapalua.

I believe the Princeville Hotel which has been ranked #2 of all Hotels in all of Hawaii in northern Kauai will more than satisfy your needs. It is located in a very scenic tropical location with lush mountain views and inspiring ocean and bay vistas. The Hyatt Kauai (ranked #4) also an excellent choice in southern Kauai near the renowned Poipu Beach. Both have good snorkeling, and some have stated that the Hyatt is more family friendly, while Pville is more couple friendly. Either way, one of these two will more than do. :S-

not much time to post but here's something that i heard about when we planned the trip to hawaii that we're taking next week.

the hyatt chain has a discount if you go to multiple islands and choose hyatt hotels on each. the hyatt in kauai is supposedly the nicest hotel on the island, and the maui hyatt is also great. we stayed at the maui hyatt in 2001 for our honeymoon, and it's in an ideal location on kaanapali beach, near lahaina.

you might want to look into this- we were using liberty travel, so i dont know if its a travel agent thing or if you can get the same discount by yourself.

good luck!
