Hotel Surveys

Does IHG (Holiday Inn, Intercontinental, etc) typically send surveys to its guests after a stay? I recently stayed at the Intercontinental in San Francisco and a survey wasn't e-mailed to me. Was that an error on their part or is it not part of their customer service program? I sent an e-mail inquiring about a customer satisfaction survey but didn't get a response. I'm beginning to wonder if they care about customer service. The on-line form said I would get a response in 3 working days and it has been nearly 2 weeks. Do I need to be patient or is it appropriate to call the hotel manager? Input is appreciated.

Not all the time but often.
Check your spam inbox.

If you want them to get your opinion, you could have completed the form left in almost every room.

I get post-stay e-mail surveys maybe only 30-40% of the time.

There wasn't a survey in the room or I would have taken it with me to fill out and no IHG e-mails in my spam inbox.

I got one just in the past few days for a stay at the end of March...maybe wait a little? I was beginning to think I wasn't getting one this time.

It sounds like you had a problem? I'd just call the manager or write an email if you want to point it out to them.
Last time I stayed at an IC, I didn't get a survey.

I get them some of the time, but not always. You can always go to the priorityclub website. They should have a form for guest feedback there.
