Hello, again. Thanks to your wonderful input we had a great experience in Washington. The Hotel Palomar was nice and its location was terrific. (The room we checked into initially was not good -- terrible smoke odors -- but we were moved to a better room.) We had excellent meals at Pesce, Mimi's, and Obelisk. The restaurant at the hotel -- Urbana -- was not very good, however. I had other issues with the hotel but I was so happy to be able to walk to such nice restaurants. Thanks so much for all of your help with my DC trip --especially Bardo's dining suggestions. My sons were very at home and well received at each of our wonderful restaurants. Best, Betsy
