Hotel Rooms

I will be traveling to Washington DC early July with my 9 year old son. Looking for a decent hotel, not to expensive but close to the T and must have a pool. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Very few people will bother to open a post with no specific info in the title.

You might as well have titled your posy "travel question".

Post under "Washington DC Hotels Near T"

I've stayed at Quality Inn Iwo Jima in Arlington. It's walking distance to Rosslyn Metro (tho maybe not with luggage), and has a pool, and free parking. Reasonable prices during Cherry Blossum Festival, so I assume same with July. You must be from Boston: DC has the "Metro", not the "T"
I was just in Boston and thought T was an odd name. There are two Holiday Inns near the Mall, Capitol South and some other one, and I think they both have pools. The Capitol South one is right next to a metro stop. There aren't a lot of hotels in the city with pools, and some that do you'd probably say are too expensive, I imagine--for example, the Omni up in Cleveland Park is nice and right near Woodley Park metro. They have an outdoor pool and you might get a decent rate in July. The Embassy Suites downtown (on 22nd St NW?) is nice but maybe too expensive for you.

Priceline it! It's the best way to wind up with the nicest hotel for your $$$. Have a great vacation.
